Every massage on our menu relaxes you. The aromatherapy session is the one that recruits your sense of smell to help. Before you lie down, the therapist builds an essential oil blend around what you want from the hour, then works it in with full-body classic strokes. At U Spa in Al Barsha the price starts at AED 550 for 60 minutes, AED 800 for 90 and AED 1,100 for 120, the lowest numbers on our list and, judging by the rebooking rate, some of the best spent. We take guests daily from 10 AM to 5 AM at the Donatello Hotel, a five-minute drive from Mall of the Emirates.
Why the oils are worked in, not just sniffed
A diffuser scents the room. A bath dilutes everything into warm water. Massage does something neither can: the strokes heat the skin and get the blood moving, and aromatic compounds absorbed through warm, working skin reach the bloodstream quickly. So the calm, or the lift, arrives while you are still on the table instead of an hour after you leave.
Matching the blend to the evening
Start from the exit, not the ingredient list. Want to sleep tonight? Lavender and chamomile. Need to be functional at dinner in two hours? A citrus blend does the wake-up without caffeine. Breathing gone shallow after a week of air conditioning? Eucalyptus. Regulars who already know their oil can simply name it and the therapist builds around it.
The stress massage, priced like one
Pressure here stays moderate, in the territory of a Swedish massage rather than deep tissue, because the target is your nervous system, not a knot under the shoulder blade. It gets booked after red-eye flights, ahead of heavy weeks, and at one in the morning when sleep has been officially cancelled; our late opening hours exist for precisely that guest. Prefer the same hour without the scent layer? The full body massage is the unscented sibling.
AED 550 also settles a question every visitor to the city eventually asks: what a licensed Dubai spa charges for a real massage once the beach-resort markup is subtracted. This is that number.

FAQ
What does an aromatherapy massage cost at U Spa?
AED 550 for 60 minutes, AED 800 for 90 and AED 1,100 for 120, VAT included. No massage on our menu costs less.
How do I know which oil to ask for?
You don't need to. Tell the therapist the state you want to leave in (asleep on your feet, wide awake, breathing freely) and the blend follows. Lavender and citrus lead the requests.
Will it fix a stubborn muscle knot?
Not its job. The pressure stays moderate on purpose. A knot that has survived weeks deserves a deep tissue or sports session; aromatherapy works on stress, sleep and mood.
Can I come at 2 AM?
Yes. We confirm sessions until about 4 AM every day, and a pre-sleep aromatherapy hour is one of the most common late orders.
What if I'm pregnant or react to certain oils?
Say so when you book. Several oils are set aside during pregnancy and for sensitive skin; the therapist swaps the blend or, where that is wiser, suggests a different treatment.
